Evolution is a choice, almost. It’s through natural selection that we, as special people, are chosen, but it is nature that chooses when natural selection begins and in what way we’re to evolve.
In order for our species to evolve, there must be a practical need for such things, correct?
We need to ask “How will it benefit our species?”Or “Does this mutation represent progress?”
If we look at Human Flight, for a moment: One would think that obtaining such a gift through evolution could allow one to escape from the path of danger and in turn – survive, and on top of that increase his/her attractiveness to the opposite sex.As much as we like to think that our species is more civilized than others, it remains fact that our instincts are very primal. We must mate and eat to survive, thus the practicality of these cases of extreme evolution is enhanced. With all this in mind, it makes the choice of evolution easy.
Alternatively, there are mutations that may harm the progress of our species; like the ability to host a deadly disease. What I mean by this-is the host, an evolved human, may be immune to the virus, but as his/her ability, is able to transfer the virus to another person, which could eventually lead to extinction of our own species.
We may ask ourselves “What good can come from such a horrible gift?”
I submit to you, the venom of a poisonous snake. It can kill in a matter of hours, but within this venom is also the cure. The same theory can be used in defense of the ability to host a deadly disease. It is also possible that a person harboring said ability was given their gift in order to survive, natural selection; but in the wrong hands could be dangerous.
As evolved humans, we can learn a lot about ourselves through personal experience and in turn understand the way our species works. There will never be a day when all humans will obtain powers because nature will only give them to those deserving and to those who would prosper from them, natural selection.
Gender: Male Age: 23 Location: California, United States Ability: Telekenisis and Telepathy
I didn’t believe it, until I seen it. A man who is able to defy all the laws of physics and move all sorts of things with his mind. He only became aware of his ability when he was 22 so he will only become more powerful. On top of that, he has a small amount of telepathy and is able to do things, such as knowing what people will say before they say it, or answering phones before they ring. Initially, I would shrug this off as coincidence and luck, but it happens far too often to be just that.
Though he has two gifts both of them aren’t equally as strong, in this case telepathy is the weaker of the two. According to him, he can feel that his telekinesis is stronger than it is now, but his mind isn’t strong enough to hand such a task. This is quite natural, though, because learning something takes time, whether it be how to drive or how to lift a car up off the ground with your mind!
What I have come to understand by meeting these people with abilities is that they understand how much potential they really do possess. In the case of File #3, his body tells him that he is much stronger than his abilities might show at the moment. It’s amazing that these people are so in touch with themselves, that they can understand the extent of their powers.
Gender: Male Age: 17 Location: London, England Ability: Enhanced Memory
Case File #2 has been changed, as you may noticed. After a bit more research on the original girl who was here, it seems that she uses memory tactics to remember things better, which isn’t a form of evolution. However, luckily I’ve come across a young man from London with an amazing memory…watch the video to learn what I’m talking about!
Amazing, isn’t it? I hope that my trip to the UK will allow me to meet this man.
Gender: Male Age: 13 Location: India Ability: Inherent Omniscience/Advanced Intelligence
The Definition of Inherent Omniscience is the ability to know anything that one chooses to know and can be known. Which I think directly coincides with his advanced intelligence.
What Case File #1 has done is extraordinary! He is able to understand how things work and because of this is often hailed as the smartest person in the world. He is one of many using that are using their abilities for good. In his city he has learned the ways of medicine and is doing professional grade surgery for people who can’t afford to go into hospitals. He is only 13, mind you. In first grade he was able to learn and write English at a professors level, thus began teaching a class at that age. He is able to do this because, with his gift, he is able to know and remember anything he chooses to know. On top of that, I’m informed that he intends to use his gift to find a cure for cancer. I believe if anyone can do it, it would be him.
Not many people can comprehend why he can do such things, most just attribute it to smarts. It’s far beyond that, though.
Teleportation, levitation, tissue regeneration; Are these really that far beyond the realm of human skill, or just beyond the realm of human comprehension? As children, we are pre-programmed to believe in the extraordinary. Though, as time passes and we mature into adulthood, and those beliefs fade. So, is it really so outlandish for a boy to believe he can fly, or for a woman to believe she sees visions of the future? Is it really so outlandish to think that these people really possess these abilities?
No, it’s not!
The mind is mankind’s most powerful tool, but most of us have no idea how to use it to its fullest potential. Evolution is happening all around us, from the smallest thing like a baby learning to laugh or a young girl learning to read, to a man learning to become a doctor or fly an airplane. So who’s to say that evolution can’t lead us beyond out expectations? No one! It happens every day, so really, it’s inevitable that mankind will continue to grow beyond the realm of what the general public may think is possible.
During my research I discovered that 1 out of every 500 persons possess an ability, many of which have not realized it yet. We are chosen through natural selection, so ultimately there is no precise way to predict whom will and will not fall victim to evolution. At birth, one can’t even be too sure if they have an ability, because the time it takes for something like this to surface varies from person to person. For some, it may show up when they are infants, and for others not until their teens or adult years. For example, in China a 73 year old man has the ability harness magnetic energy. Think Magneto from X-Men. He was in his 30’s, working as a construction worker when his tools started sticking to him. This is only one example, another is in Mexico; a man who posses the ability of human flight has been seen flying around the canyons.
You might ask, well what triggers these powers in people? The answer is simple, emotion. During times of high emotional stress these powers trigger themselves, as a result of the adrenaline. For instance, an infant may discover his/her ability during a temper tantrum, or a woman might discover hers during a painful break-up. Have you ever been so angry you could punch a whole through a wall? It’s the same basic principle. Now, these situations don’t have anything to do with what sort of powers one might possess, they’re just triggers, and like the time the powers show up, it differs for everyone of us.
We have reached the gateway of human evolution; And as we stand in the threshold of our true potential, Us, as the gifted have inside us a genetic code that has the ability to lead our species into the next evolutionary level. What we do with it and how the public react, well that’s up to you.
